کب تلک اپنی دُہائی دے گا
خود سے کیا خود کو رہائی دے گا؟

آخری بار صدا دے مجھ کو!
پھر مجھے کچھ نہ سُنائی دے گا

اِسی اُمید پہ دیکھوں ہر سوُ
وہ اگر ہے تو دکھائی دے گا

پھر وہ یاد آیا ہے لمحہ بھر کو
پھر وہ صدیوں کی جدُائی دے گا

دل سے کیا عُذرِ محبت کیجے!
غیر کیا اپنی صفائی دے گا؟
