Main roya nai rulaya gaya hon,
Bana kr pasand phir thuraya gaya hon.

Chor diya gaya taqdeer k sahare,
Pyar k naam pe jalaya gaya hon.

Bht hi narm-o-nazuk tha mizaj apna,
Jeety je khak me milaya gaya hon.

Mareez-e-muhabat ko gulab raas kahan,
Hamesha k liye kanto pr sulaya gaya hon.

Be mout na marta to kia krta?
Bhari dunya me yun sataya gaya hon.

Kbhi jo palkon pe naaz uthate thy,
Aaj usi nazar se giraya gaya ho.
