Usy neend kahain aati hai mera khial jab aata hai
Jaan us ki hi nikal jati hai mera khial jab aata hai

Tanha jab bhi hoti hai , khud se ulajti rahti hai
Usay sharam si pir ati hai mera khial jab aata hai
...
Mehfil main bhi bith kar tanha nazar wo aati hai
Pir wo kitna moskarati hai mera khial jab aata hai

Poochti hain jab usay ye maan chali si saheliyain
Batain wo kia banati hai mera khial jab aata hai

Mujay khabar hai ye, tanhaei main wo bith kar
Khud ko barha jalati hai mera khial jab aata hai
