Humain koi Ghum nahi tha Ghum-e-ashqi se pahle
na thi dushmani kisi se teri dosti se pahle
hai ye meri badnasibi tera kya qasoor is main
tere Ghum ne mar Dala mujhe zindgi se pahle
mera pyar jal raha hai ai chand aj chup ja
kabhi pyar tha humain bhi teri chandni se pahle
mai kabhi na muskurata jo mujhe ye ilm hota
ki hazaron Ghum milenge mujhe ik Khushi se pahle
ye ajeeb imtehan hai ki tumhi ko bhulana hai
mile kab the is tarah hum tumhain bedili se pahle
