tere jesa mera bhi haal tha na sukoon tha na qarar tha
ye ho umr thee mere humnahen ke kisi ko mujh se bhi pyar tha
mein samajh raha hon teri kasak tera mera dard hai mushtarak
isi gam ka to bhi aseer hai isi gam ka mein bhi shikar tha
faqat ek dhun thee ke raat din isi khawab zaar mein gum rahen
wo surror aisa surror tha wo khumar aisa khumar tha
kabhi lamha bhar ki guftugo meri os ke sath na ho saki
mujhe fursaten na mil saken wo hawa ke rath pe sawar tha
hum ajeeb tarz ke log thai hamare aur hi rog thai
mein khizan mein tha os ka muntazir ose intezar bahar tha
ose parh ke tum na samajh sake ke meri kitab ke roop mein
koi qarz tha kaii roz ka kaii ratjagon ka odhar tha

Kabhi zindagi me kisik liay mut rona**
q k vo''tumhare ansoun k kabil nahi ho ga''
or ''vo'' jo is ''kabil'' ho ga vo tumhe ''rone'' nahi de ga''*****
