یہ آنکھ رونے کی شدت سے لال تھوڑی ہے
ملال ہے مگر اتنا ملال تھوڑی ہے

بس اپنے واسطے ہی فکر مند ہیں سب لوگ
یہاں کسی کو کسی کا خیال تھوڑی ہے

...پیروں کو کاٹ دیا ہے اُڑان سے پہلے
یہ خوفِ ہجر ہے،شوقِ وصال تھوڑی ہے

مزا تو جب ہے کہ ہار کے بھی ہنستے رہو
ہمیشہ جیت ہی جانا کمال تھوڑی ہے

لگانی پڑتی ہے ڈوبکی اُبھرنے کیلئے
غروب ہونے کا مطلب زوال تھوڑی ہے
