zindagii kyaa hai kisii taaq meN jal kar dekho

apne chehre ko badalnaa to bahut mushkil hai
jii bahel jaayegaa aaiinaa badal kar dekho

rang bikhreNge to fariyaad karegii Khushbuu
tum kisii phuul ko chuTkii se masal kar dekho

jab bhii dekhaa tumheN ek Khvaab kii suurat dekhaa
ek din paikar-e-taabiir meN Dhal kar dekho

zindagii maaN hai navaazegii tumheN bhii “Nikhat”
kisii bacche kii tarah tum bhii machal kar dekho
