Hadood e jaan say guzar howa, to muhabbaton ka pata chalay ga
muhabbaton ki nazar howa, to muhabbaton ka pata chalay ga

wafa ka poda shajar howa, to muhabbaton ka pata chalay ga
naseeb us ka samar howa, to muhabbaton ka pata chalay ga

abhi to phirtay ho doston main, aziz koi juda nahin hai
koi idher say udher howa, to muhabbaton ka pata chalay ga

ye Khushnaseebi hai shehar bhar main, tumhara dushman nahin hai koi
kahbi kisi ka joor howa, to muhabbaton ka pata chalay ga

ye fasla sa abhi talak, jo hamaray dono k darmiyan hai
ye fasla mukhtasir howa, to muhabbaton ka pata chalay ga

muhabbaton main to pathar ko bhi, moom howay suna hai laikin
tumharay dil pay asar howa, to muhabbaton ka pata chalay ga

jo jis ki khatir zamanay bhar ko, bana rahay ho tum apna dushman
wohi agar na apna howa, to muhabbaton ka pata chalay ga
