Kuch bhi to nahe waisa
jaisa tujhe soch tha
jitna tujhe chaha tha
kuch herf duaon ke, kuch phool wafaon ke
mehkain gay meri khatir
kuch bhi to nahe wiasa
jaisa tujhe socha tha
mehsoos yeh hota hay dukh jhaile thay jo ab tak
benaam musafet mein
likhne ki muhabbat mein, parhne ki zaroorat mein
besood riyazat thi, befaiz ibadat thi
Jo khawab bhi daikhe thay
In jagti aankhon ne
Sab khaam khiyali thi
Phir bhi tujhe paane ki dil ke kisi goshe mein
Khawhish tou bacha li thi
Laikin tujhe paa ker bhi aur khud ko gunwa ker bhi
Is habs ke mousam ki khirki se hawa aaiy
Na phool se khusboo ki koi bhi sadaa aaiy
Ab neend he aankhon mein
Na dil mein woh pehli si sukhn aaraiy
Na lafz mere nikle na herf o ma'ani ki
Danish hi mere kaam aaiy
Nadeeda rafaqat mein jitni bhi azziat thi
Sab mere hi naam aaiy
Kuch bhi to nahe waisa
Jaisa tujhe socha tha
Jitna tujhe chaha tha
Kuch bhi to nahe waisa.......
