abh ye sochon to bhanwar zehan mey par jaty hain
kesay chahry hey jo milty hay bichar jaty hain

keyun teray darad ko dein tumhat e viraaniye dil
zalazalon mey to bhary shehar ujar jaty hain

mousam e zard mey ek dil ko bachon kesay
aesi rut mey tu ghany pair bhi jhar jaty hain

abh koi keya meray qadmon k nishan dhonday ga
taiz andhi mey tu khaimay bhi ukhar jaty hain

shughl e arabab e hunar pochty keya ho k ye loug
ptharon mey bhi kabhi ainay jarr jaty hain

soch ka aina dhundhla ho tu phir waqt k sath
chaand chehron k khdo khaal bigar jaty hain

shidat e gham mey bi zinda hon to herat kesi
kachy deye tund hawaon may b lar jaty hain

woh bhi keya loug hey muhshin jo wafa ki khatir
khud tarashida asoloon par bhi arr jaty hain !!
