Kuch khayal ate hain aur a ke chale jate hain
aina-sa mujhe dikhala ke chale jate hain

sath mar ke bhi raha mere Gam-e-tanhai
varna ahabah to dafana ke chale jate hain

meri tanhai ke sathi mere saGar-mina
ab to ye bhi mujhako bahaka ke chale jate hain

kitani badanam hai bazar-e-muhabbat men vafa
log is chiz ke pas ake chale jate hain

jin ko ham apana samajhate the vahi ham ko "Saba"
dekh lete hain to katara ke chale jate hain
