Zehanon men Khayal jal rahe hain
Sochon ke alaw-se lage hain
Duniya ki girift men hain saye
Ham apana wujud dhundhate hain
Ab bhukh se koi kya marega
Mandi men zamir bik rahe hain
Mazi men to sirf dil dukhate the
Is daur men zehan bhi dukhe hain
Sir katate the kabhi shahanshah
Ab log zuban katate hain
Ham kaise churayen shab se daman
Din nikala to saye chal pare hain
Lashon ke hujum men bhi hans den
Ab aise bhi hausale kise hain
