In the quiet dark stillness of night,
I become, as I enter the dream
from your hidden heart, the silver light,
shining through your window as moonbeam.

Verses, I shall whisper in your ear,
lay unwritten books upon your chest.
Though I am far, I'm more likely near,
bidding you this, your enchanted rest.

As new raindrops are touching the ground,
I summon stars to begin weeping.
At my behest, they make not a sound.
This I will dream, while you are sleeping.
