Apna to chahton mein yehi ik asool hai,
Tera bhalaa bura humain sab kuch qubool hai,

Yeh umar bhar ka jaagna bekaar hi na jaye,
Tu naa mila to saari reyaazat fazool hai,

Khud hi kaha tha tu ne meri jaan chorr de,
Ab chorr di to kyon tera chehra malool hai,

Aye Maan yeh meri shohrtain meri yeh iztain,
Kuch bhi nahin bass tere kadmon ki dhool hai,

Aayi jo teri yaad to aankhain barass parri,
Iss waqt tere dard ka dil per nazool hai,

Ik doosrey ke waastey dono baney ,
Guldaan mera dil hai teri yaad phool hai..
