Hosla chor gaya tha saath nibhaane wala,

Jaane kis simat gaya aj wo jaane wala,

Aaj phir aankh mein aaye hazaron aansoo.

Aaj phir yaad wo aaya hai bhulaane wala,

Ab kahin ja k mere zakhm bhare hain,

Dekho Ab kahin lout k aa jaaye na jaane wala,

Ay,"KHUDA"!

Us ka har khuwab salaamat rakhna,

Ghum na dekhe wo mere khuwab jalaane wala,

Ab kahin raah mein mil jaaye to itna kehna,

Mar gaya kab ka tere naaz uthaane wala ....
