mujhey arzu-e-sehar rahi, yunhi rat bhar bari dair tak,
na bikhar saka, na simt saka, yunhi rat bhar bari dair tak...

Hai bohat azab aur akaile hum, shab-e-gham bhe hai taweelter..
Rahi zindagi bhe sarab aur rahi ankh tar bari dair tak...

Yahan her taraf hai ajab saman, sabhi khud pasand, sabhi khud numa..
Dil-e-beqarar ko na mila koi charaa gar bari dair tak...

Mujhey zindagi hai azizter, issi wastey meray humsafer,
mujhey qatra qatra pila zehar, jo karey asar bari dair tak...
