Zameen pay paoon hein or aasmaan pay sir mera
Ye kaainaat nahi ban saki hai ghar mera

Main nangay paaoon bohat dair ghoomta raha hoon
Tumhaaray sheher ki mitti mein hai asar mera

Tum apnay jism k ik konay mein paray rehtay
Hua na hota ager is taraf guzar mera

Jo eent ubhri thi deewaar say zara baahir
Lahoo-lahaan kiya hai us hi nay sir mera

Glass paani ka main bhar k saath rakhta hoon
Yehi to hai jo ta'arruf hai mukhtasir mera

Chiraagh mujh mein hai yaa main chiraagh mein hoon ShihaaB
Laga hua hai tamaasha idher udher mera !
