Haseen rutt main gulab chehry
Humain batao udas kyu ho

Dilon pe beeti hoi kahani
Mujhe sunao udas kyu ho

Jo ranjshen dil main pal rahi hai
Munafqat main jo dhal rehi hai

Bhula k shikwy mita k doori
Galay lagao udas kyu ho

Kitab-e-dil k har safhay pe
Likha hai hum ne lafz mohabbat

Humain hamari wafa ka badlay
Saza sunao udas kyu ho

Fareb khana b mashgala hai
Fareb dena b mashgala hai

To dil k lutne pe kesa maatam
Khushi manao udas kyu ho
