Wo khafaa hein to koi baat nahi
Ishq mohtaaj-e-iltayfaat nahi

Dil bhar aaye to muskuraa dayna
Ye huner sab k bas ki baat nahi

Dil bujha ho ager to din bhi hai raat
Dil ho roshan to raat raat nahi

Aisi bhooli hai kaainaat mujhay
Jaisay main juzzuw-e-kaainaat nahi

Haal apna sunaaoon kya tum ko
Qaabil-e-ziker koi baat nahi

Meray laa'iq nahi hayaat .....
Or main laa'iq-e-hayaat nahi !
