Kabhi daman kabhi palkain bhigona kis ko kahtay hain
kisi mazloom se poocho k rona kis ko kahtay hain

kabhi meri jaga khud ko rakho to jaan jaogay
k dunya bhar dukh dil main samona kis ko kahtay hain

meri ankhon mere chahre ko ik din ghor se daikho
magar mat poocho weeran hona kis ko kahtay hain

tumara dil kabhi agar pighlay ghum ki hararat se
tumhain maloom hojaye ga rona kis ko kahtay hain
