Aaj phir chaand ki peshani se uth’ta hai dhuan,

Aaj phir mehki hui raat mein jalna hoga.

Aaj phir seene mein uljhee hui wazni sansein,

Phat ke bas toot hi jaengee,bikhar jaengee;

Aaj phir jaag ke guzregi tere khwaab mein raat,

Aaj phir chaand ki peshani se uth’ta hai dhuan,

Aaj phir mehki huee raat mein jalna hoga.
