Zaroor koi kami meri apni zaat mein hai
Jo aik karb musalsal meri hayaat mein hai

Kisay sunaaoon yahaan kon kis ki sunta hai
Her aik shakhs muqaiyad khud apni zaat mein hai

Na-jaanay sheher mein kab kon qatal ho jaaye
Jisay bhi dekhiye ik doosray ki ghaat mein hai

Kisi sifat mein bhi apni nazer nahi aata
Ye aik sifat bhi shaamil to teri zaat mein hai

Main apni zaat mein maana k naa-mukammal hoon
Wo kon hai jo mukammal khud apni zaat mein hai

Ye sochta hoon ShihaaB jaaoon to kahaan jaaoon
Sukoon din mein mayassar hai or na raat mein hai !
