Triple camera lens that turns iPhone into a fish-eye, telephoto-toting supercam

Hipstamatic has been one of the unlikeliest hits on Apple's iPhone - turning the hi-tech handset into a copycat camera that can 'fake' shots from retro snappers such as the Instamatic.
But the iPhone Lens Dial takes it a step further - adding telephoto, wide-angle and fish-eye lenses in a clip-on case.

The Lens Dial allows users to select between a variety of effects - because the difference comes from a physical lens, rather than post-processing in software, making the difference more distinct

The iPhone Lens Dial is a case which clips over your iPhone with three rotating lenses that alter the way the device takes photographs. They are wide angle, fisheye and telephoto - and, unlike Hipstamatic and other camera apps, they actually alter the photos before they hit the iPhone's processor - radically altering the shots the smartphone is capable of.
Its makers describe it as 'spectacles for your iPhone'.

Here's looking at you. The clip-on case is made of aluminium, and offers three different lens options

The slim 10oz case is made of aircraft-grade aluminum and comes equipped with two tripod mounts for portrait or landscape shots.Costing £159 it is more than the fee for an iPhone on a contract - but is the most unique such device on the market yet.The iPhone Lens Dial is currently available from U.S. based photojojo.com which describes it as ‘like a new pair of spectacles for your iPhone’.The lenses come in an optically coated glass and can be used for a range of shots. The 0.7x wide angle is good for sweeping landscapes and for warped images use the 0.33x fisheye. The 1.5x telephoto allows you to get nearly two times closer to your subject. So far however it only works on the iPhone 4 or 4S
