Ik sehmi sehmi si aahat hai, ik mehka mehka saya hai
Ehsaas ki is tanhai mein yeh raat gaye kon aya hai

Aye shaam alam kuch tu hi bata, yeh dhang tujhe kyon bhaya hai
Woh meri khoj mein nikla tha aur tujh ko dhoond ke aya hai

Mein phool samajh ke chun loon ga is bheege se angaaron ko
Ankhon ki ibaadat ka mein ne bss aik yehi phal paya hai

Kuch roz se barpa chaar taraf hain shadi o gham ke hangamey
Sunte hain Chaman ko maali ne phoolon ka kafan pehnaya hai....
