youn bhi to zindagi mein tamasha rha bohat
wo mjh say dur or mein tanha raha bohat

us nay palat kar pocha na kis haal mein hun mein
lekin mein uski khariat likhta raha bohat

wo kon tha jo hansta tha sarkon per rat bhar
is waqiay ka shehar mein charcha raha bohat

kal raat hum say raat guzari na ja ski
kal rat dil mein shor e tamanna raha bohat

bezaar ho ke jeena koi khail to na tha
is kefiat mein reh kar bi jeeta raha bohat
