ik pagli mera naam jo ley, sharmaye b, ghabraye bhi
galiyun galiyun mujh se milney aye b, ghabraye bhi

raat gaye ghar janey wali gumsum larki raahon main
apni uljhi zulfoon ko suljhaye b, ghabraye bhi

kon bichar kar phir lautey ga, kiun awaara phirtey ho?
raaton ko ik chaand mujhe samjhaye b, ghabraye bhi

aney wali rut ka kitna khauf hai uski aankhon main
jaaney wala door se haat hilaye b, ghabraye bhi

kia janey woh kon hai Mohsin jis ki khaatir Raaton ko
taiz hawa pani par naqsh banaye b, ghabraye bhi

Kabhi zindagi me kisik liay mut rona**
q k vo''tumhare ansoun k kabil nahi ho ga''
or ''vo'' jo is ''kabil'' ho ga vo tumhe ''rone'' nahi de ga''*****
