مطمئن ہوں کہ مجھے یاد رکھے گی دُنیا!
جب بھی اِس شہر کی تاریخِ وفا لکھّے گی!

میرے گھر کے در و دیوار مجھے سوچیں گے
وسعتِ دشت مجھے آبلہ پا لکھّے گی!

میرا ماتم اسی چپ چاپ فضا میں ہو گا
میرا نوحہ اِنہی گلیوں کی ہَوا لکھّے گی
