Jo khialon ki Dunya mein basti thee,
Sochon k Muskan mein rehti thee,
Wo Veeran Yaadon k daman mein bandhi rehti thee...

Kitni Nadan thee Wo Larki,
Jo kitaboon mein ghum rehti thee,
Afsanon mein apna kirdar talash karti thee,
Kuch na pane ki surat mein Udas ho jaya karti thee...

Kitni Nadan thee Wo Larki,
Jo apnay he khialon mein uljhi uljhi rehti thee,
Janay kia sochti per kuch bhi na keh pati thee,
Dunya k hangamoon se paray,Tanhai mein rehti thee...

Kitni Nadan thee Wo Larki,
Jo apnay ird gird ki Dunya se ghabrai hoi rehti thee,
Aur apnay wajood ko khod he dosafi dena chahti thee,
Wo sub raston pe jati thee aur mur k wapis aati thee...

Kitni Nadan thee Wo Larki,
Jo mere Dil mein rehti thee...
