Mujhe ek manzil-e-khaas ka na pata chala, yeh bura hua
meri justaju, meri aarzoo, hui raaigaN, yeh bura hua

meri zest maut se kam nahi, mera gham bhi ab mera gham nahi
teri dastaan mein sama gai meri dastaan, yeh bura hua

mujhe apne naghmoN se hai gila, mera raaz raaz na reh saka
woh jale chiraaghon ki tarha, woh utha dhuwaan, yeh bura hua

tere intezaar mein baith kar, mujhe zindagi to mili magar
mera saath chor ke chal diya, mera karwaaan, yeh bura hua

mujhe yaad thi yeh na thi khabar, mere gham mein hai bara asar
meri ek aah se jal gaye, kai aashiyaan, yeh bura hua

Kabhi zindagi me kisik liay mut rona**
q k vo''tumhare ansoun k kabil nahi ho ga''
or ''vo'' jo is ''kabil'' ho ga vo tumhe ''rone'' nahi de ga''*****
