Raat din hum yeh kis ko dhundhty hain

Hijer kya,visel kya hay, chahat kya
Aap kyun bar bar pouchty hain

Yeh mohabbat hay maslaht hay k wahim
Aaj un ko bula k pouchty hain

Dekh kar eik khiyal parwar ko
Kaise kaise khiyaal sujhty hain

Chand se dhodiya samandar hay
Rait par nage paoun ghumty hain

Shayad un ka khiyaal a jaye
Aankh eik saniye ko mondhty hain

Is tara koun kis ko dhundhta hay
Jis tara hum kisi ko dhundhty hain

Besabab dil main dard utarta hay
Besabab loog hum se ruthety hain

Kis qadar khudfreeb hain hum bhi
Kaise kaise butoon ko poujty hain

Haal dil kiya kahain kisi se k ab
Baat kigiye to lafz tuut tey hain
