Aik ik lamha dill pe bhaari hai
Shaam hai aur be qarari hai

Hijr mein aik pall nahein kat'ta
Kiss tarah zindgi guzari hai

Beyaqeeni ki ik saleeb pe dill
Jeet karr bhi yeh janng haari hai

Kiss tarah jagmaga rahi hai nazar
Yeh muhabbat ki meena kari hai

Door hadd e nazar talak ik khwab
Chandni ka tilism taari hai

Ashk, lafzon say mutabar thehray
Khamshi aansoo'on say bhaari hai

Ho gaey ba shaoor waqt kay saath
Abb tamanna bhi ikhtiyari hai

Kya howi aag jo lahoo mein thi
Jism parr kesi barf baari hai

Ay Khuda!aik khwab ka marham
Aankh parr zakhm e yaad kaari hai !!!
