Kabhi jeet to kabhi haar ho jaati hai
Zara si baat kehna dushwaar ho jaati hai
Kabhi to alfaaz saath nahi dete mera
Kabhi khamoshi dil pe sawaar ho jaati hai
Kuch kehte kehte ruk jaati hoon main
Alfaaz main kuch chup jaati hoon main
Nahi samajh paati khud ke ehsaas ko main
Nahi pehchaan paati dil ki awaz ko main
Ke najane kab hansi ki guzarish ho jaye
Aur agle pal ashqoon ki baarish ho jaye
Ab darti hoon aisi sachayi se main
Bhaagti hoon aisi bhalayi se main
Ke shayad intezaar meri kismat hai
Shayad isi sabar main hikmat hai
