Katrina Kaif, the sizzling hot bollywood babe who recently shot with Salman Khan for an item number Aaya re Aaya BODYGUARD, continues to be in cold war with the leading lady of the film Kareena Kapoor who never liked the idea of Kat hogging limelight in her film.

In fact, Kareena Kapoor’s remark that Katrina Kaif did not need bodyguards but had hired a couple of them, has created a new controversy between the two warring divas of bollywood.

It was Shera alias Gurmeet Singh, who is Salman Khan’s favorite bodyguard, who spilled the beans about ongoing rivalry. When asked which heroine needed a bodyguard, Shera replied that the ones, who did not need bodyguard, had already hired a couple of them.

And when pressed further to reveal the name of the person he was referring to, Shera nonchalantly named Katrina Kaif. However, he did later add that it was Kareena Kapoor who said so about Kaif and not him, thereby once again bringing the cut throat rivalry between the two most beautiful heroines of the tinsel town in open.

In fact, even Katrina Kaif was aware of Kareena Kapoor’s displeasure, and so had not been very forthcoming about doing the item number for Salman Khan’s upcoming flick ‘Bodyguard’. But, Salman Khan would have none of it and had told her that he would explain the matter to Bebo.

But nothing of the sort happened and after Shera’s revelation about Kareena Kapoor’s outbursts on Katrina Kaif, it seems that the rivalry has only been further ignited between the two ruling box-office queens of bollywood. Kareena Kapoor plays the lead in the flick and felt that Kat would take away the credit with her hot item number if the flick succeeded at the box -office.

Meanwhile, the first look of Katrina Kaif-Salman Khan item number for ‘Bodyguard’ has been revealed and she looks ravishing in the number. Katrina is seen grooving with Sallubhai in a black Choli and Ghaghra with other dancers joining them.

The initial plan of Salman Khan was to make the number even more saucy and sensuous than Katrina Kaif’s earlier ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’. And whether it has reached to that level or not will be known only after some time. Initial reaction to item number is positive but final judgment by audience will be known only after the film releases in theatres later this month.

The particular item number has Salman Khan trying to make a pass at Katrina Kaif but he is prevented by bodyguard Shera, who makes his appearance as Kat’s bodyguard in the film.

‘Bodyguard’ is remake of a southern film of the same name wherein Salman Khan enacts the part of a bodyguard to Kareena Kapoor. The film is being produced by Atul Agnihotri and directed by Siddique.
