Rukhsat Ka Samaan

Us shaam vo rukhsat kaa samaan yaad rahegaa
Vo shahar vo kuchaa vo makaan yaad rahegaa
Voh tees jo ubharii thii idhar yaad rahegii
Voh dard ke utha tha yahan yaad rahegaa
Ham shauq ke shole kii lapak bhuul jaayenge
Vo shamaa-e-fasurdaa kaa dhuaan yaad rahegaa

Kuch miir ke abyaat the kuch faiz ke misare
Ik dard kaa thaa jin men bayaan yaad rahegaa
Jaan bakhsh sii thii us gul-barg kii taraavaat
Vo lams-e-aziiz- e-do-jahaan yaad rahegaa
Ham bhuul sake hain na tujhe bhuul sakenge
Tuu yaad rahegaa hamen haan yaad rahegaa
