Dil ki sar-zameenon pay
Gard kiun bikherti hai ?

Is terhan k mosam mein
Phool kiun nahi khiltay ?
Log kiun nahi miltay ?

Kiun faqat ye tunhaai
Saath saath rehti hai ?
Kiun bichernay waalon ki
Yaad saath saath rehti hai ?

Itni taiz baarish say
Dil k aainay per say
Aks kiun nahi dhultay ?
Zakham kiun nahi mit-tay ?
Neend kiun nahi aati ?

Baarishon k mosam mein
Aankh kiun barasti hai ?
Ashk kiun nahi thamtay ?

Baarishon K Mosam Mein .... !
