Tamanna lay kay ulfat ki, mairay aangan main wo aaya
Mohabbat rog hay dil ka, usaay ye main nay samjhaaya

Kaha us nay mohabbat kar, shareek-e-ghum bana mujh ko
Karoon ga main zamaanay ki, khushi say aashna tujh ko

Hua majboor main yaaro, kiya iqraar ulfat ka
Laga di jaan ki baazi, samaj kar khail qismat ka

Huii ma'loom phir us ki, haqeeqat ye zamaanay say
Usay taskeen milti hay, kisi ka dil dukhanay say
