waqt ke auraaq hum per se guzar jatey hain
her mausam me terei lia dehleez ko sajatey hain

banjaati hai dhaal teri muhabbat her baar
hum andhion me bhi teri aass ka dia jalatey hain

kitaabon me pichli muhabbato ke qissey hain ajab
per parh kar unko hi apne dil ko samjhatey hain

ishq ki sachaai nahi faqat kudh ko manwane ke lia
karney waalei apni dhun me wafa karjaatey hain

wo jo husn e intikhaab me kamaal rakhta hai
mujh jaisey kitney usey miltey hain bichar jatey hain

us ke raston me mei nahi tou meri ya dua sunlei Yarab
usey manzil bana m erei rastey jidher jaatey hain
