guzre dinon ki yad barsati ghata lage
guzrun jo us gali se to thandi hawa lage

mehman banke aye kisi roz agar wo shakhs
us roz bin sajaye mera ghar saja lage

main is liye manta nahin wasl ki khushi
mere raqib ki na mujhe baddua lage

wo qahat dosti ka para hai k in dinon
jo muskura k bat kare ashna lage

tark-e-wafa k bad ye us ki ada 'Qateel'
mujhko sataye koi to us ko bura lage
