Sarkozy and wife Carla get splendid view of the TAJ MAHAL

Agra: Staying at the opulent Amarvilas Hotel in Agra, French President Nicoloas and his wife Carla Bruni today got a splendid view of the TAJ MAHAL, which they visited in the evening.
Visible from all rooms at the hotel, the Taj Mahal, the 17th century monument of love is what brought the French 'First Couple' to this small yet bustling city.
Sarkozy and Bruni are believed to be staying at the Kohinoor suite located in the fifth floor of the hotel.

Sarkozy, dressed in a dark smart suit, and Bruni in a black short dress wrapped in a light coloured stole visited the Taj on Saturday evening to catch a glimpse of the beautiful sunset.
"The scene from the Kohinoor suite is just breathtaking. The Taj is even more beautiful in the night. It is an ultimate romantic place," a noted celebrity, who stayed at the resort and did not wish to be identified, said.
"Wake up to the glorious sight of the Taj Mahal, bathed by the first rays of dawn. Watch her sparkle by day as the sun shines on her architectural perfection. Allow yourself to be swept away by her romance at dusk. Let the nights be filled with the magic of the Taj by moonlight," the website of the Hotel says.
The hotel, which at present is heavily guarded with a large posse of Uttar Pradesh policemen keeping at vigil outside, is located 600 metres from the Taj Mahal.
As per the hotel, this suite has an entrance foyer, a large living room, a dining room, a study and a spacious bedroom with an attached bathroom, each of which 'has a breathtaking' view of the Taj Mahal.The suite also has a pantry and an interconnecting twin-bedded room.
The spacious white marble and granite bathroom offers one of the most 'amazing' views of the monument.
