Bujhey dil se kisi ka muskura daina buhat mushkil
kisi k waste sab kuch luta daina buhat mushkil

kisi k sath rehney pe bahaney rooz kar daina
sabab ek sath rehne ka bata daina buhat mushkil

Zara mushkil to hota hai kisi ka dil chura laina
chura kar dil kisi ka phir jata daina buaht mushkil

Kisi ki yaad k mooti mairi ankhoon mai raqsaan hain
ye gohar ansoon k sang baha daina buaht mushkil

Basa ooqat chupkey se kahani aise banti hai
k jis ka har kisi ko yu suna daina buhat mushkil

Chiragh e Dil kisi bhi gaam pe maddahm na ho jaey
k is bujhtey Diye ki looo barha daina buhat mushkil
