Meray dil meray musafir
Hua phir se hukm sadir
Ke watan badar hon hum tum
Dain gali gali sadayen
Karen rukh nagar nagar ka
Ke suragh koi payen
Kisi yaar-e-naama bar ka
Har ik ajnabi se pochain
Jo pata tha apney ghar ka
Sar-e-ku-e-nashanaayaan
Hamainn din se raat karna
Kabhi is se baat karana
Kabhi us se baat karana
Tumhainn kya kahon ke kya hai
Shab-e-Gam buri balaa hai
Hamainn ye bhi tha ghaneemat
Jo koi shumaar hota
Hamien kya bura thaa marna
Agar aik baar hota
