Kafi arsa beet gaya
Janey ab wo kaisa hoga

Waqt ki saari karwi baatein
Chup chap he sehta hoga

Ab bhi bheegi barish mein wo
Bin chhatri ke chalta hoga

Mujh se bichhrey arsa beeta
Ab wo kis se larta hoga

Acha tha jo saath he rehtey
Baad mein us ne socha hoga

Apne dil ki saari baatein
Khud se khud he kehta hoga
