Kabhi kisi ko mukammal jahan nahin milta
Kabhi zameen to kabhi aasmaan nahin milta

Dekhiye jise bhi gum hai apne aap main
Zubaan mili hai magar hum-zubaan nahin milta

Bhuja saka hai bhala kaun waqt k shaule ko
Yeh aisi aag hai jisme dhuan nahin milta

Ae rab aisa nahin k tere jahaan main mohabbat nahin
Magar jahaan iski ummeed ho wahan nahin milta
