Burj Dubai aka Burj Khalifa Opening Ceremony

Dubai opened the world's tallest building Burj Dubai on Monday with spectacular fireworks and laser display, and in a surprise move renamed the gleaming glass-and-metal tower Burj Khalifa in a nod to the leader of neighboring Abu Dhabi. The oil-rich sheikdom which came to its rescue during the financial meltdown. The building is over 800 meters (2,625 ft) tall and has more than 160 stores, the most of any building in the world.
