Akhirat kou bhool betha fiker_e_duniya k evaz

Mout ka hamlaachanak beykhabar kaisa laga?

Hanstey hanstey tou nai duniya mai guzari zindagi

Aab neya zair_e_zameen yeh tang gharkaisa laga?

Dafan kar k qabr main sab bey khabar sey chal diye

Jis sey tou manoos tha ab woh besharkaisa laga?

Tou hansa karta tha auron kou pareshandaikh kar

Chal diya apnon kou rota chor kar kaisa laga?

Aab na woh takiya mulaim aur na woh bistar naram

Jism par do gaz kafan mitti par sar kaisa laga?
