qabr ke aaghosh mein jab thak ke so jaati hai maa
tab kahin jaake zara thoda sukoon paati hai maa

apne bachoun ke gham me aise ghul jaati hai maa
jawaan hote hue bhi boodhi nazar aati hai maa

kab zaroorat ho bachoun ko meri itna sonch kar
jaagti rehti hai aankhien aur so jaati hai maa

ghar se jaata hai jab koi noor –e- nazar
haath mein quran leke dar pe aajati hai maa

chahe hum khushiyon mein usey bhool jaien dostoun
jab museebat sar pe aajae to yaad aati hai maa

jab kabhi mushkil mein hum ghir jaate hain pardes mein
tasalliyaan dene hamien tab khwaab me aajati hai maa

shukriya hohi nahi sakta kabhi uska ada
martey martey bhi du’a jeeney ki dejaati hai maa

pyaar kehte hain kise aur ma*** kya cheez hai
un bachoun se poocho jin ki marjati hai maa.
