Mutton Cutlets
Ingredients: Goat Meat(Minced) - 2 Cups
Potato - 2
Onion Chopped - 1 Small
Green Chilies - 4
Ginger - 1 '' Piece
Garlic - 4 Big Flakes
Curry Leaves Chopped - 2 Sprigs
Coriander Powder - 2 Tbsp
Red Chili Powder - 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Cinnamon Stick - 1 Small
Cloves - 3
Fennel Seeds - 1 Tsp
Eggs - 2
Bread Crumbs - To Taste
Oil - To Fry
Directions...
Boil potato with water. Peel and mash potatoes. Keep aside for later use.
Grind cinnamon, clove and fennel seeds in a mixer. Keep aside for later use.
Grate garlic, ginger and chop green chilies. Keep aside for later use.
Put water, ½ tsp of salt and meat in a cooker for about 10 minutes, after 2 to 3 whistles switch off the gas and put the meat in a sieve.
Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, curry leaves, grated ginger & garlic, chopped green chili. Fry for 2 minutes on medium flame. Low the gas stove.
Add coriander powder, red chili powder, salt and turmeric powder. Now add cinnamon, clove and fennel seeds (From Step 2). Mix well.
Take meat in a bowl, add this prepared mixture (From Step 6). Mix well with meat pieces.
Now add mashed potato (From step 1) & salt in meat and mix well.
Beat eggs in a bowl and put salt, Mix well.
Take bread crumbs in a plate.
Take a small amount of meat mixture and give any shape (Your choice) to it.
Dip the prepared cutlet in egg mixture and then roll in bread crumbs. Cover it completely with egg and bread crumbs.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the cutlets till they become golden brown in color from both the sides.
When fried properly take out the cutlet from oil.
Serve hot with your choice of sauce, chutney. Enjoy!!!
