Ek shakhs hamain yaad aata hay

JAB rim jhim rim jhim barish main
Har simt nami chaaa jaati hay
Or sabza sabza kalioon pay
Moti say giraati jaati hay

Phooloon ki kalian Hans Hans kar
Shabnam ka aansoo roti hain
Jis waqt ufaq k bistar main
Sooraj ki kirnain sooti hain

Jab raat ki malka ro ro ka
Bharti hay falak ko taaron say
Or taiz hawa takrati hai
Nadi Kay bahtay dharon say
Mahtab ki pyari si dulhan
Jab raat ki maala japti hai

Or raat ko lay kar banhon main
Jab rukhsat us ko karti hain
Phir barkha rut ka aawaara
Jab abr ka tukDA Gata hai
