jab se us ne shahar ko chora har rasta sunsan hua
apna kya hai sare shahar ka ik jaisa nuksan hua

mere hal pe hairat kaisi dard k tanha mausam main
pathar bhi ro parte hain insan to phir insan hua

us k zakhm chupa kar rakhiye khud us shakhs ki nazron se
us se kaisa shikawa kije wo to abhi nadan hua

yun bhi kam amez tha wo is shahar k logon main
lekin mere samne akar aur hi kuch anjam hua
