Shaam-o-saher kiska khayaal kiya,
Mere mehboob ne aaj yeh sawaal kiya

Anjaan hain isi liye poochhte hain mujhse,
Tumne kiski khaatir apna yeh haal kiya

Kasoor nahi hain yeh aapka sanam mere,
Khud hi apne haal ko maine behaal kiya

Waqt aata jo sahih to izhaar bhi kar deta,
Intezaar isi liye maine itne layaal kiya

Mulaqaat unse ho to yeh kehna 'Munda'
Aap ka hi maine har baar khayaal kiya
